Solvent-free compounding is a method in which two substrates are compounded together on a solvent-free compounding machine using a 100% solid solvent-free adhesive, also known as reactive compounding.

Multi-function: By switching the coating unit, it can realize solvent-free, dry compound (solvent glue and water glue), PVDC coating, cold seal glue positioning coating, hot melt glue coating, reverse printing, etc.
Compared with ordinary dry compounding process, solvent-free compounding has the following advantages.
1. Health
Solvent residues in flexible plastic packaging are the most important issue that affects the health of consumers and operators. Some technicians in the industry have also made many technical improvements in equipment and raw materials, but they can only reduce the amount of solvent residues and cannot be completely avoided. The generation of residual solvents. Since the solvent-free process completely avoids the use of organic solvents in the production process, it fundamentally solves the problem of solvent residues. So solvent-free compounding is a healthy compounding process.
2. Security
Fire and explosion accidents occur from time to time in flexible packaging manufacturers at home and abroad, mainly caused by improper operation or excessive concentration of organic solvents in the air. If solvent-free compounding is adopted, the use of organic solvents is completely avoided and potential safety hazards are eliminated.

The solvent-free composite adhesive is completely solid and does not contain any organic solvents. Therefore, there is no impact on the health of production workers, and zero emissions of organic solvents are also achieved, avoiding air pollution problems. 1. The coating amount of solvent-free compounding is usually 1.3-1.8g/m2, and dry compounding is 2.5-4g/m2, so compared with dry compounding, the consumption of adhesive can be saved by about 50%. Although the price of solvent-free glue is higher, it is estimated that the overall raw material cost can still be reduced by about 20%.
2. Since the non-solvent composite process does not require a drying process, the energy consumption cost is effectively reduced. After calculation, the energy consumption cost of solvent-free equipment is 1/15 of the energy consumption cost of dry complex equipment.
