PU laminating adhesives are generally known as films bonding for flexible packaging industry. They are solvent-containing or solvent-free adhesives which serve to bond thin, two-dimensional substrates, such as plastics films, metal foils, paper, etc.
High performance PU laminating adhesive:
Used for packaging structures that need sterilization, for hot filling, for all the applications that require high thermal and chemical resistance.
For example: Packaging for Fresh pasta, fruit juice, meat and fish, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals.
Medium high performance PU laminating adhesive:
Used for packaging structures that require only pasteurization and a good level of chemical resistance.
For example: Packaging for coffee, liquid soaps, spices, sauces, frozen food, milk, bakery products.
General purpose PU laminating adhesive:
Used for packaging structure that don’t require any specific performance level.
For example: packaging for snack food, chips, dry pasta, cookies.
